Truth Finder ~~ The Internet ad caught my attention and this little fish bit the hook. It cost me $27.78 to view a report that was advertised as a  detailed view of information about yours truly. Well, quite truthfully, I was very disappointed!! TruthFinder has all my phone numbers, and addresses for twenty-five years,  and the names of folks who likewise shared those addresses (apartment dwellers, etc.). Although they indicate they have “relatives.” none of mine were listed. Nothing about my employment, and retirement from, Los Angeles County. TruthFinder reminded me of a “fender bender” in June 2000 (which I had forgotten). TruthFinder was quick to advise me that forty (40) sex offenders live in the area (with their names and addresses). Quite frankly, I hoped to see details of the books I’d edited and published, the websites I own and manage, and the organizations where I volunteered. ~~ IMHO, save your money!!

Saturday’s Child.

The name Hallelujah Acres  came up in conversation this morning. I checked the Internet for current  information. Frankly, I didn’t see a date for this article–but interesting reading. I supported the Hallelujah Diet for many years; I was a trained “Health Minister.” There was a time when I worked at the home office in Shelby, North Carolina. ~~ Just curious; I wonder the status of the company in 2018.

This evening, I’ve cried my eyes out as I watched (TV) and listened to Alan Jackson sing traditional old gospel songs. I confess to a lack of fondness for the new contemporary Christian chorus songs. “24/7”* doesn’t minister to my heart and soul. ~~ Happy tears!!

Story of my life; I need to be three people!! Truthfully, it makes me tired just thinking about the endless projects awaiting my time and attention.

Kept busy… but nothing “shows.” By contrast, my blooming flowers are a witness to something attractive, something accomplished, but sorting, sweeping, raking is thankless. ~~ “IF” I was three people, one of me would have enough energy to walk across the street to the Clubhouse (at 5:00) and watch two good movies, and enjoy popcorn and candy. “IF”….

Sadly, I was forced to turn on the air-conditioner–at 3:51. I’d been working on the patio almost all day and  outdoors-in-the-shade not unbearable.

“One track mind”: I’m focused on organizing my “hardware store.” OMG!! I have so much miscellaneous stuff. ~~ I’ve started a pile of things to donate to Habitat for Humanity Resale Store.
