My early morning mantra “I don’t want to get up; I don’t want to get up.” But “projects” are demanding attention!! Thankfully, after a little effort, delicious coffee!! ~~ Per meteorologist Al Roker, NBC-TV Today show, 7:17 AM: “Sixteen million people at risk.” (Severe weather.)
True story: Many of those advertised items did not sell in June 2013. They are currently on display at this yard sale!! (Am I the only individual infatuated with birds [feeders] and flowers [planters]??)
#1: Important to check this earlier blog message. #2: Below see pictures of the little Christmas tree one year later.
#3: Special outing to H.E.B. market in Kingwood. Here are the details in another blog message you should read. It details one (of two) outings with George Bowden.
A dear friend, greatly missed!!
This morning–with so much publicity about Facebook–I went to my page to check the extent of my visibility. I’ve stated frequently that I am not participating in social media. To my amazement, there were many greetings for my birthday (twenty-five days ago) that I was unaware of. My apology to friends because I did not acknowledge their wishes. ~~ E-mail messages welcome!!
As predicted, a major thunder-storm blankets our area. Naturally, it “put a damper” on my yard sale but I don’t mind. I accomplished two loads of laundry while working on projects under the shelter of the patio roof. Previously unmarked items are now priced and on display in the carport. The lights (with Casablanca fans) are an asset and allowed me to “see what I was doing” (otherwise too dark). ~~ Took an exceptionally long time to publish this blog message because Hughes satellite Internet reception was limited. Four-thirty as I type this and I suspect my DISH satellite TV reception is, likewise, limited.
Repeat: Took an exceptionally long time to publish this blog message because Hughes satellite Internet reception was limited. Finally able to publish at nine-fifty PM. ~~ Off topic: My yard is a river and lake!!
