“Oh, what a beautiful morning; oh, what a beautiful day”!!

This is my next-door neighbor’s rose-bush–in my yard so she can see it from her porch. It is blooming so beautifully–but she has been gone for two months!! I lamented because she was missing the spectacular “eye candy.” ~~ She’s back!! ~~ Hopefully the pretty roses will compensate for the loss of her other plants. I was a “careless custodian.”

Life is good because forecast for several days without humidity!! “Summer”  will be back this time next week. So “good”  to turn off the air-conditioner and leave the door open.

Instead, I visited with neighbors, watered plants, lingered over lunch (and ate too many home-baked cookies). My many projects are still waiting for my attention. The cooler temperature is so delightful!!

Hard to believe, I’ve been watching the 700 Club  most of these years.

We watched the programs on a portable black and white television with “rabbit ears.”

Think about how far communication has rocketed in five decades.

Extremely pleasant working in my “yarden.” Hot, but not humid!!

National good neighbor day.

Yes, I was out in the yard–watering plants–when outdoor thermometer read 110 degrees. The heat and humidity takes a toll on plants, too.

Yes, the surge protector would have been on the ground. “On the ground” may have contributed to my earlier problems?! The new electric cord is attached under the slide-out so nothing on the ground.
