Hallelujah Acres remembered

The name Hallelujah Acres  came up in conversation this morning. I checked the Internet for current  information. Frankly, I didn’t see a date for this article–but interesting reading. I supported the Hallelujah Diet for many years; I was a trained “Health Minister.” There was a time when I worked at the home office in Shelby, North Carolina. ~~ Just curious; I wonder the status of the company in 2018.

Checking previous tenth day of May, etc.

Your’s truly. May 10, 2017 ~~ Extremely involved with genealogy scanning project.

Trite but true?? May 10, 2016

Nineteen months and counting. May 10, 2015 ~~ Sadly, eviction in the forty-eighth month.

Mold in T@B part one.  2014 ~~ Mold in T@B part two. ~~ Mold in T@B part three. ~~ Mold in T@B part four. ~~ Mold in T@B part five. ~~ Mold in T@B part six. ~~ As Paul Harvey would say: “The rest of the story.”  That’s why I included two, three, four, five, six,  and There goes a piece of my heart.

How does your garden grow? May 12, 2012

All of May 2010 is interesting reading (imho).

Stretching way back to 2009, I find two messages and second one bears date of May 11th. Asthma and allergy and Indoor Ozone Poisoning with EcoQuest Ozone Generators.

Yours truly thought the reader would appreciate something other than pictures of indoor/outdoor thermometer, etc., etc.

Projects galore !!

.

Story of my life; I need to be three people!! Truthfully, it makes me tired just thinking about the endless projects awaiting my time and attention.

.

Kept busy… but nothing “shows.” By contrast, my blooming flowers are a witness to something attractive, something accomplished, but sorting, sweeping, raking is thankless. ~~ “IF” I was three people, one of me would have enough energy to walk across the street to the Clubhouse (at 5:00) and watch two good movies, and enjoy popcorn and candy. “IF”….

One track mind ?!

Sadly, I was forced to turn on the air-conditioner–at 3:51. I’d been working on the patio almost all day and  outdoors-in-the-shade not unbearable.

“One track mind”: I’m focused on organizing my “hardware store.” OMG!! I have so much miscellaneous stuff. ~~ I’ve started a pile of things to donate to Habitat for Humanity Resale Store.

Quiet night, unwelcome visitor !!

It’s no secret, I love “nature”!! I enjoy the birds and squirrels. I see evidence of armadillos and raccoons. It’s three o’clock in the morning and we have a skunk in the neighborhood!! That’s a first?! It’s frustrating to be wide awake in the middle of the night but this is “adding insult to injury”!!

.

My recent experiment failed. The squirrels still devour the seeds in the feeders. However, the odor of Animal-B-Gone must be strong enough to keep the birds away.
