Hello Sue !!
It’s the middle of the night and I’m wide awake. It seems “such a waste of time” to toss and turn in bed. “In the middle of the night,” I was reminiscing about a young woman who was (and is) precious to me. I don’t “do” Facebook; maybe she reads my blog. I’m sending love and lots of virtual hugs!!
Coffee, coffee !!
A visitor will see all that coffee on top of the kitchen cupboards. Have you noticed that coffee prices have increased? That’s what I heard on TV. So I couldn’t resist buying four cans when I saw them discontinued and discounted. Truthfully, I’ll share with the RV Park residents who get together, at 8 o’clock, at the Clubhouse, for coffee. I don’t “go” but I’ll gladly share.
Here’s “Mr. Red”—owner-manager of the RV Park—ready to carry my groceries to the front porch. He makes the coffee—in the Clubhouse—almost every morning. **If** we didn’t have the Coronavirus, more residents would get together. This month, we have four new residents on two sites. Before the end of the year, occupants will change on two more sites (that I’m aware of).
“Up” & “out”
Groceries for the next month?!
Ancestry calling !!
“This double cousin chart prompted this researcher to explore two sons of Michael Peters (1748-1835). Both Michael D. Peters and Daniel Peters identified with identical birthdates. Were they twins? If twins, they would have the same mother. One man?” <<<<< That’s the message I posted with that chart yesterday (on Ancestry).
Late in the day, yesterday, I received this obituary from “cousin Patrick.” The lady, “Lois,” was not in my database but the connection was made with her grandfather. “Yes,” she is another descendant of the families in the chart. Lois is my seventh cousin. ~~ It’s uncanny how often new information dovetails with recent documentation.
Climbing trees !!

I get “involved” with a research project and I can’t walk away!! This “mell-of-a-hess” was a challenge to unravel. All this because “cousin” sent a comment regarding an individual in my database. The problem stems from Ancestry Member Family Trees copying from one another rather than studying a record to see if names—and dates—are accurate. Below is something I labeled “inexcusable” (and [shame on me] I misspelled the word in the image).
Time to go shopping…
Tree climbing at two o’clock
“I’ll not be defeated, I’ll not be defeated anymore” are the words of a Christian chorus. I’m humming the tune as I start this message. I was “climbing the family tree” in my dream and I got up and came to the computer. From what I’ve seen (in my database), the details were eighty-five percent correct. My dream might be one-hundred percent correct? I’m known to be wrong. Last night (before ten) cousin Patrick (the obituary distributor guy) brought an error to my attention. ~~ OK, back to bed. ~~
