“The Pillow Guy” & FBI

The FBI won’t harass this old lady but she, too, gets on her small soapbox and shouts “Make America Great Again.”

Maybe the best story about Mike Lendell

BEAUTIFUL experience !!

Yesterday, my Meals on Wheels  lunch arrived via this beautiful automobile. Standing high on my porch I could see the entire roof was a “skylight.” I rushed to the driveway to greet the drivera long-hair “hippy-looking” man of uncertain age (and my regular Friday-delivery person). The first words out of my mouth: “Is this your EV? Last week you were driving a borrowed van but you said you drive an EV.”  Gospel truth: I’ve never seen a Tesla! I was captivated by the beauty and constantly touched the car. I was introduced to the interior, and the “plugin” to charge it.

I have a contrast of Meals on Wheels  delivery persons. Last Tuesday, I had a woman who referenced “trailer trash”  but said she thought our Park is exceptionally nice.

.

“Trailer trash”

I’ve lost track of the number of years I have lived in “a trailer.” The first one was our home while my husband was in Basic Training in Fort Ord, California (1953). The second one was somewhat larger while my husband was stationed at Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. Later, Fort Devens, Massachusettes, and Fort Lewis, Washington. More recent years: A mobile home in Lancaster, California. From 2013 until 2020, an “RV” trailer home in Livingston, Texas. Currently, a “Park Model” trailer in Waco, Texas.

Suddenly I have the answer to a sixteen-year mystery: “Why did my sons reject me?”  They are embarrassed because their mother is “trailer trash.”

Peculiar project

This weak, weary woman does not have enough strength to unscrew the sprinkler from the hose (because “a guy” connected the two). But the weak old woman had a brilliant idea: Hose the throw rugs at Shawn’s. While she is away from home, I am watering her plants. Earlier, there was an attempt to vacuum the throw rugs but the vacuum cleaner did (almost) irreparable damage.  Moving the heavy wet rugs was muchneeded exercise for this sedentary arborist (climbing trees, climbing the family tree). ~~ Look at the beautiful blooms on the Crepe Myrtle trees. ~~ Speaking of trees, “the janitor”  had to clean up another mess. Note that other Ancestry Member Family Trees listed my cousin with a much earlier death. The obituary information went into the Gallery and this image was prepared to draw attention to the error. Queen of mean?
