This researcher has refrained from terms like “can of worms” and “thick as fleas.” Today, I was in a peculiar set of circumstances and I had the inspirational thought “Briar-patch.” It was so complicated, I won’t even begin to explain… or publish an image. Changing the subject: I had a very rewarding experience when I searched for the book titled Genealogy and History of Jacob Flora of Franklin County, Virginia. It was available for viewing on FamilySearch, I scrolled through 388 pages. I made a “screen print” of pages with valuable to me information. I marvel at the volumes of family information, perfectly detailed, at a time prior to computers. In 1996, I published 3,180 pages–Frantz Families–Kith & Kin–but I had the benefit of a genealogy software program in a computer.
