I started my morning with this obituary for Glenna M. Royer and it led to the display you see below. True story: I didn’t have a single one of those individuals in my database. I “knew” the Royer surname and I “knew” she was “extended family.” I’ll go back and document the sources behind all those green “hints.” I started with the “Royer” surname and visited a dozen other surnames. Along the route, I visited the “tree” of a cousin—and she has 278,175 carefully documented individuals. (Perhaps she is addicted to family history the way I am addicted to family history?)
