Uncomfortably hot !!

I was forced to turn on the air-conditioner before ten o’clock. I have an intense dislike for A/C. The heat makes me lethargic (twice as tired). I’m in an “either–or” predicament. Outdoors, the “feels like” temperature is “triple digits.” On the positive side: Rainwater for the veggie seeds followed by extreme heat should promote growth. (“Should promote growth” ?)
Two big events in one day !!
Today I was documenting my FRANTZ extended family. I stumbled on very interesting information documented by a seventh-cousin-one-time-removed. I followed his information and it prompted me to also research his wife’s family. OMG, her grandmother is a SHOWALTER and that’s my maternal lineage! The wife is my seventh cousin. Note that I now have 52,000 individuals in my Ancestry tree.
Rerun !!
Good day to…
Gar-done !!
.
Too much “labor” yesterday?! I have so many aches and pains, I will “putter” with indoor projects today. Furthermore, look at the temperature, outdoors, at 9:40. ~~ I watered the plants, and prepared another “planter.” I trimmed “dead heads” off the rose bushes. I think I’m “done” with the garden (“gar-done”) today but I may have a “second wind” and prepare the blue container.
.
10:50 AM Postscript:

I hope, and pray, the heavy rain doesn’t “flood” my planters and wash away the seeds. Thinking of my garden reminds me of my ancestors who lost their crops to drought, tornadoes, and “yes” too much rain. ~~ When I titled this message “gar-done” it might have been prophetic? Perhaps my garden is done?

11:30 AM Postscript:

Torrential rain.

Another Postscript:

Chagrin !!
Here is the blog message I prepared on April 20, 2019. I stumbled on this family again four days ago (while looking for an Officer). I put so much work into the 2019 research and discovered (four days ago) that newfound information conflicted with the earlier documentation. I’m conscious-stricken because I strive for 200% accuracy. This is a lesson to triple-check and “when in doubt, leave it out.”
Looking for an Officer
Seriously, I’ve spent three days “looking for an Officer.” Is Waco defunding the police?
This blogger wants to bring variety into her messages—and maybe a little humor. Here is a link to the blog message of a dear friend RVer. Please read “Houston, we have a problem.”
Why was I looking for an Officer? “Officer” is the maiden name of the mother-in-law of my first cousin one-time-removed. But who were her parents; what was the “mother-in-law” father’s name? Under ideal conditions, at most, I would have had two or three “Officer” in my Ancestry database. After three days of searching, I have seventy-one folks with that surname and no answer to my question. I love a challenge; I want to resolve the mystery. However, there are many projects demanding my attention so I’m heading for the garden (before the rain arrives [again] today).
