“The better to see you, my dear.”
Folly !!
Foolish Old Lady Lingers Yonder
I’ve known Impatiens prefer shade but continued to hang the baskets on “their” hooks on special-built planter.
.
They have been blooming–and such a pleasant picture. But, this afternoon, the Impatiens were a wilted sad sight to see!! I moved them to inconspicuous locations, in the shade, and hope they revive. When I’m outdoors, I always see a dozen other things to do.
Not complaining–but I am so-o-o tired. I feel like a deflated balloon!!
Malaise !!
Old habits die hard !!
Hottest day of the year so far. I felt compelled to document the temperature (although most readers aren’t interested). ~~ Today I almost had a stroke and heart attack. “Heat stroke” because I was in and out of my hot KIA, on hot parking lots, in and out of stores shopping for groceries and other essentials. “Heart attack” because I spent an astonishing $181.00 on “essentials” at CVS.
Frankly, this morning I wanted to stay in bed but forced myself into Livingston for Aleve, and another (previously unused) sleep aid. (I keep trying “natural” non-habit-forming.) My purchases included “natural” supplements, “natural” lotions, “natural” eye drops, etc. I’m determined to “get healthy” again; I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired!!
