Of course, I didn’t unpack everything from the car, from the trip. I made a dash to the car… and saw the temperature on the little clock (on the patio table). A month ago we were still suffering from heat and humidity!! Very soon, I need to complete the shelter for my perennial plants because freezing temperatures may be “around the corner.”
It was good to sleep in my own bed again. “Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.”
If you don’t get your shelters done, don’t worry too much. Perennials are used to Mother Nature. The freezing is just part of their cycle.
Agreed!! I just want to be protective of my plants!! It’s 12 noon and only fifty-seven degrees.
I think there is a “tinkerer” in you that just can’t be helped. I know somebody like that. 😉
