Other projects get my attention; I do things besides “climb trees.” It is my hope and prayer that I never have another mold problem. **If**a problem, the drawer contents will transport easily. I won’t replace the cabinet door; I hope and pray more ventilation (around hot water heater) will mean no more mold or mildew.

…and thermometer in my trailer home says “get used to it”!!

No “official” confirmation but I believe I can report that the 5th-wheel trailer finally sold. Truthfully, the new owner “stole” it because I sacrificed it for far less than the true value. What’s “the old lady” supposed to do?? The trailer was in the front yard of  “a friend of a friend.”  It has been five-and-one-half months and he ordered me to move it. How?? I’m one-hundred-eighty miles away!!

Dr. Oz had a fascinating program today (16 Jun 2020) but a “re-run” of an earlier broadcast. Strange as this may sound, this was an affirmation that my detective work—on Ancestry.com—is worthy of my time and talent. I’ve lost count of the number of people I have helped with their ancestry. Yes, I’m an amateur detective. ~~ It is remarkable how DNA is able to establish the identity of people—decades later. If not now, maybe in years to come information on a branch of my tree will give an individual a name and a family.

Wishful thinking? I “need” to feel I have contributed to society. “Ancestry” is my family because my children and grandchildren have rejected me. I was “mother” and “father” to three sons. Special remembrance days come and go (“Father’s Day” just around the corner) but no cards or phone calls. I’m grateful for God-my-Heavenly-Father who loves me and provides for my needs. Father God  led me to this RV Park with thoughtful loving residents who are so kind to me.

Twelve noon: The owner/manager of this RV Park and two of his buddies repaired the leak at my hot water heater. “Yes,” I was informed they are the “three wise men.” I don’t need gold, frankincense, and myrrh; I just need strong hands, a willing spirit, and a supply of tools.

Sleepless (same old story)!! I use a “natural” sleep aid but it only supplies about four hours of “shut-eye.” My “praise report” is the inspiration to get up and turn on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network, Christian TV). At 3:30 in the morning, a “rerun” of a “Praise” TV program I viewed months ago. An answer to a portion of my current health problem. I’ve long believed our body “will talk to us.” This morning, God-my-Heavenly-Father spoke to me!!

Dear Journal,

I’m ashamed to admit my negative thoughts. I love to help folks with their family history.  I love to be a “genealogy detective.” I give away my time and talent and expect nothing more than a “thank you.” When appreciation doesn’t materialize, I’m a “disappointed detective”!!

For more than three months, I have been isolated (due to Coronavirus) and too few hugs and affirming conversations.

My unscientific solution to the DNA “cousin” conundrum: We are related through the unidentified grandfather.

Did I get up on the wrong side of the bed? This morning is not going well. (It doesn’t require a detective to figure that out.) The Banker phoned to say the sale of my 5th-wheel trailer is almost complete. When he mentioned the sale price I was astonished. “No”  that wasn’t the established sale price. I have no choice but to continue with the transaction. True story: The other day a man phoned and offered the full asking price. He said he knows the quality of a Carriage trailer. I thanked him for his interest but told him I’m committed to another buyer.

Morning not going well? I can smell the mold and mildew!! I “know” it is detrimental to my health!! The “inhibitors” (products) don’t seem to be “inhibiting.” What’s the old lady supposed to do?? I have not used the EcoQuest air purifier but plan to move it outdoors (to the porch) and aim it at the kitchen wall. I may still smell the ozone; I may get sick again? I have to make one more attempt… Furthermore, I can’t stand the odor of bleach or I would spray the visible mold. The weather is hot (and humid) and mandates that I use the air-conditioner. If cooler weather, I could have doors and windows open when using bleach.

In the TV news this morning, a story about families forced to move because of mold and mildew in their apartments. Is another move in my future??

Sleepless in Waco. Sick and tired old lady!!

Even on the lowest setting, I could smell the ozone. My eyes were burning, I was sneezing and coughing. “Off” went the EcoQuest air-purifier.

See the drawer in my nice front yard? I’ll struggle… and remove the other drawers. Hopefully “nature” will accomplish what artificial products did not accomplish. ~~~ When I opened the water heater door (for the first time), I discovered a leak. I’ve already requested an RV repairman (before twelve noon)!!

Almost two o’clock: Ten or fifteen minutes of ozone was “too much.” It’s in my trailer home and I have a monster headache, burning and itching eyes. I continue to cough and sneeze. OMG, how stupid of me to set up the EcoQuest air-purified for the second time!!
