Very little sleep last night; I’m extremely tired. My mind won’t move beyond the topic of Anna Catharina Frantz and the Wehunt family.  ~~~~~ I recognize this is the subject for another story for Mennonite Family History. The trouble is, I’m too tired to write it. The most recent issue of Mennonite Family History has my story titled “Remember when?“ The next issue will have “‘Resolve’ flew out the window.”

In the neighborhood, she flys the American flag. “Old lady” is praying for our Nation and encourages you to pray for America.

Below is an exact copy of a message from two years ago. I’m “up” at 5:15 because I can’t sleep. I thought I’d find something positive and uplifting in messages from two years ago. Messages about my beautiful flower garden and/or all the birds that visited my yard. If my blog visitor will read this blog message, what I’m writing in 2021 sounds like 2019. (“Wagoner” in 2019 and “Wehunt” in 2021.) I sound like a broken record!!

Not enough sleep!!

I’ve tried all types of over-the-counter sleep aids and they don’t seem to work for me. I will not take prescription drugs!!

Today, I am so tired I don’t even want to “climb the family tree.”  I haven’t an ounce of energy for the most simple task. “Triple-digit heat”  per local TV meteorologist. I don’t want to walk out the door into the heat to go to the refrigerator in the laundry room. No rain today to cool the air.

First: I created an image disputing the listed parents of Anna Catharina Frantz. Second: I uploaded the image to FamilySearch. Third: There it is for everyone to see!! Forgive me? I cannot ignore this misinformation.

Where, oh where, have the good researchers gone? Where, oh where, can they be?

I’m paraphrasing a nursery rhyme.

This blogger—an avid genealogist—has sent eleven days (or is it twelve because I’ve lost count) trying to accurately document Anna Catharina Frantz Wehunt. The woman who perpetuated the “misinformation” won’t share her information with me. I’ve got excellent genealogy detective skills but I’ve been unable to identify Anna’s parents.

…I will rejoice and be glad in it.
