My dear lady-friend (living in Jacksonville, Florida) sent a “Pest Repeller.” I do not have an unobstructed outlet so it is hanging from a power strip under the table with my computer monitor and keyboard. That was my only accomplishment yesterday. Gratefully, after a week, the trap got another mouse (this morning). Hopefully, the ultrasonic pest repeller will scare them off in the future.

POSTSCRIPT @ 12:15 PM: The third mouse is a surprise. It is very tiny and probably a baby looking for its mother. The way it was running around on the floor of my living room—and kitchen—made me think it was confused—or crazy. Perhaps the ultrasonic pest repelled has the first victim.
