Correction: “The journey of ten miles…” involves a “terrified of the traffic” old lady with a load of “downsized” items. Waco traffic is a nightmare–especially with the construction along and near Interstate-35. I’d planned to take “the other half” to an antique store—across town—but my Garmin GPS gave me conflicting information and put me in I-35 traffic. I unplugged the Garmin (with the disagreeable voice of a woman telling me what to do) and headed for home. En route, I stopped at Dairy Queen for a Blizzard treat. “Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.”
