My back aches from lifting heavy boxes; my head aches so I took an Aleve. I started packing a box for the Brethren Heritage Center but I’m not ready to part with this valuable (to me) information. There is information in these publications that quite likely isn’t available on Ancestry.com. Yours truly needs to add the information to her family tree.
POSTSCRIPT @ 1:30 PM: An old lady has got to do what an old lady’s got to do?! Perhaps “Yours truly” will enjoy several more years of expanding her Ancestry family tree. She hopes, and prays, the remaining library of genealogy will be shipped to the Brethren Heritage Center.
A variety of activities this morning. There was a slight breeze so reasonably comfortable. It was cloudy, too. As soon as the sun came out, it was like being in a sauna!!
Recently, I purchased packing boxes at Walmart. More purchases (of boxes) later? Gotta get ‘er done!! “This world is not my home, I’m just a passin’ through. My treasures are laid up, somewhere beyond the blue.”
I “shredded” so much history. I enjoyed fond memories for a few minutes.

It is “early June” and so hot I haven’t the energy to do a single project. All I can do is sit at the computer and not think about the upcoming four months of heat and humidity. Note that it was hot at midnight. Frequently I tell folks: “Forty years living on the Mojave Desert did not prepare me for one summer in Texas.”
