In an earlier blog message, I said I’d abandon Ancestry.com until I received a new WiFi-signal-receiver “gizmo.” When I checked my email messages yesterday morning, another obituary from “cousin.” I don’t know how he gets these obituaries within hours after the death of a family member. I appreciate his faithfulness (for sources) and, in exchange, I add the information to our databases. From 5:30 AM until 2:00 PM, I was documenting information about fourth-cousin-one-time-removed and the collateral lines (more than one-hundred individuals total). A telephone call took me away from computers (at 2). Truthfully, twelve hours to complete documentation!! Perhaps I should say twelve hours before I got to a stopping point. These families are “knit” together like a beautiful afghan and “no stopping point.”
This message delayed one day because (perhaps you noticed) three messages on Sunday.
