Last night, I stumbled across a movie on TV–a movie I did not see in a theater. “Terrified” because the setting is my home state of California. The location was the San Andreas earthquake fault which ran about ten miles from my home in Lancaster, Los Angeles County, California. Yes, the movie was San Andreas and I put myself in those settings. I’ve lived in San Francisco, I know those landmarks. I was a resident of north Los Angeles County for forty years, I know Los Angeles landmarks. I have immediate family living in Southern California and I could “see” my loved ones experiencing that disaster. Here I am, hours later, and I cannot get the horrible tragedy out of my mind.
