Coulda, woulda, shoulda…

…been packing for the move but I couldn’t resist pursuing my first love!!

A simple “thank you” is inadequate so I traced the ancestry of the very kind, thoughtful, considerate man who transported my possessions from Livingston, Texas, to Waco, Texas.

End of day

A busy day and very few pictures. This is primarily a “thank you” blog message.

(#1) A dear girl-friend sent three gifts (my only presents). SINCERE THANKS, Deb!!  ~~ (#2) Perfect weather for outdoor projects!! (#3) Thankfully, “the old lady” managed to load a lot more things into the cargo trailer. Only one more day to complete the moving and packing. ~~ “Early to bed, early to rise….”

.

Yes, I was up early Christmas morning (5:00), and curious about the contents of the packages. Deb remembers I buy “organic” and healthy food.

Thanks to…

…two (2) Aleve PM, I enjoyed a good night all-night sleep!!

Harry Smith on NBC Today show for an interesting story about the anxiety we experienced prior to New Year 2000. Do you remember the anticipated Y2K problem??

…warmer weather, I was able to get a lot accomplished outdoors.

…two (2) Aleve, at noon, to mask discomfort from moving items and blowing leaves off the patio and driveway.

…friends and acquaintances who stopped by to learn details about my pending new home in Waco, Texas. I’ve received lots of hugs!!

.

Six-hundred dollar garden paraphernalia !!

.

**If** I sacrificed the garden paraphernalia, one trip would have been sufficient.  “Yard” sales and “moving” sale failed to meet my downsizing need. My new home has a large yard so I might continue gardening. Waco is a large city(!!) so a “yard sale” might bring interested customers? ~~ Today: A cold day–with sunshine–and bundled-up old lady made great progress toward the second (and final) load. Warmer weather is predicted so the remainder will be loaded soon. (Each trip [to Waco, Texas] costs me $600.00.)

Interesting numbers 351

For two years my address has been three-five-one (351) Escapees Drive with a zip code seven-seven-three-five-one (77351). I think that is interesting.
