Another “two Aleve type of day” !!
Motivated ?!
A picture is worth a thousand words !!
Two Aleve kind of day !!
Beautiful day; the yard beckons. I swept leaves and deposited them around plants, in planters (excellent mulch). Shifted things (yard sale items) so more convenient for planters. One day soon, I’ll move the LARGE planters with Worx Aerocart.
Too much sitting lately; I’m “out of shape.” Yard work wears me out (especially when less than four hours sleep).

Premature perhaps, to start moving the planters, but my limited energy motivates me to shift a few at a time. Most are being pruned.
Heading outdoors !!
Multi-tasking, multi-topics
Cold temp. & hot news !!
Obviously, it’s cold outdoors, and pleasantly warm indoors. The “hot news” is: Nine-and-one-half hours of sleep.
Only one brief time when I woke up after seven-and-three-quarters hours.
.
Details are important to me. Perhaps related to years as a “proofreader”? My “travels,” yesterday, started when I “spotted” the letter “S” on the grave marker for Dorothy Louise Frantz (1922-1947). “That’s peculiar.” Investigation followed and the “duplicate” is Dorothy Louise Frantz (1922-1978). Yes, I had listed the 1978 death date, and California location, to a woman who was born and died in Illinois–and her middle name was not “Louise.” (Lorraine error!!) “Who is Dorothy Louise Frantz who died in Huntington Beach, California, in 1978?” That launched documentation for that woman, her Frantz husband, his other wives and a total of twelve marriages. At this writing, I have not identified his lineage; I’m “stuck” with his grandfather (born 1843 in Ohio). ~~ I’ve searched “original” Census records (via the Internet) for the individuals–and their neighbors. This is another “challenge” that found me; I don’t deliberately go searching for (examples) father of orphan father of husband of first cousin–or unidentified grandfather of third cousin.
Burr-r-r-r
Traveling !!

Coast to coast in the past eight hours. I’m “taking a break” to write this because a blog is less stressful than “climbing the family tree.” Yesterday, I caught myself with an error–and not enough time to correct before I walk away from computer no later than eight PM. (Computer screen [light] may interfere with my sleep?!) So, first thing this morning, I worked to rectify the error (and no small task). Afterwards, I searched for the woman whom I’d mistakenly co-mingled. (Identical first, middle, and last name.) Although I had her with the Frantz surname, it was her married name. Her husband is an extremely interesting character: Musician, worked at 20th Century Fox, married half-a-dozen times. “Where does he fit on the Frantz family tree?” Several hours searching and still no answer to that question. While searching his parents, I found myself working with unfamiliar families (and I’m the authority on the FRANTZ surname).
For the first time (in my recollection), a Frantz family in Oregon. “Where did they come from?” So many family members have roots in Ohio and Kansas. Still no established connection. ~~ There you are; Lorraine traveling from coast to coast in one day (in her pajamas).
