After an extended period of time, I finally replaced batteries in the indoor/outdoor thermometer, and sensor.  Yes, I have two… but rely on the larger one. Now, the frustrating job of setting the date and time. Tomorrow morning, at this time, the thermometer will read “in the 40’s”  according to TV meteorologist. ~~ Fifty-four degrees when I dashed outdoors to check rain gauge. Almost two inches of rain late yesterday and during the night.  TV meteorologist also said “Hasn’t been this cool since April.”
