Seven inches total–documented in my gauge–seemed heavy. Another resident said she had seventeen inches total the last couple of days. (I’m still glued to the TV.)

My rain gauge has documented approximately eight inches from eight AM yesterday until (almost) five PM today; thirty-three hours. A neighbor collected a great deal more rain water. ~~ Very hard rain at 5:15 PM.
