In the garden, pulling weeds. Well, more correctly, pulling up baby Chinese Tallow trees. Washed tree debris from the patio and sidewalk. Filled bird feeders; watered plants.
It’s 9 o’clock and I’m heading for the laundry room.

Postscript: Almost three PM and I’m lethargic!! Because the “feels like” temperature is about one-hundred-four degrees outdoors, and the inside temperature is eighty-four degrees!! I’ve lived in my 2003 Carriage 5th-wheel trailer for eighteen months but never had the air-conditioner serviced. I left North Carolina twenty-one months ago and the KIA has been neglected. Guess where some T@B teardrop trailer dollars will be spent.
Uh, uh, no lecture, please: Fifty pound bags of bird seed are a luxury I allowed myself. I love the birds!! Recently I saw a Pileated Woodpecker (for the first time–and not at a feeder). I’m delighted that one found my yard. (Searching for a picture from the Internet, I found this interesting link.)
