While it was cool enough to work outdoors, I began to unload the T@B teardrop trailer. Ninety-nine percent was travel-related items but most had previously been stored in the back of my KIA (while traveling). It’s time to put a shine on everything?! I’ll find some way to re-package the things for a potential buyer.
I’m pleased with the responses to my ad on eBay. With 20/20 hind sight, I did not document sufficient information in the ad. I’m having to answer questions–and I hope that will satisfy the lookers. I had hoped that hyperlinks to my Tab Teardrop Trailer Travels blog would provide a broad picture of the trailer–but eBay doesn’t allow links. Had I known–before I started the ad–I could have prepared more pictures. C’est la vie!!
Now I have a living room floor cluttered with personal “stuff” removed from the trailer–and will make decisions about “toss” or “donate.” I’ll make decisions… during the heat of the day, in the comfort of my air-conditioned “larger” trailer.
(“Incredible” because that’s a lot of stuff from a very small area!!)
Your trailer sold–Congratulations! A good price, too, but you are including so many accessories the new owner will have a great deal. I was curious how you handled “shipping in the US” –will the new owner pay for shipping, or do you pay? How is it shipped? Do you hire someone to drive it across country?
You included so many accessories, some of which I’ve been looking for – like the original awning (I don’t like the new ones that look like a baseball cap visor, and there’s a cute British version, but $300).
Re: equipment – did you install a vent the Nature’s Head toilet to the outside (if I get one I’d rather not cut a hole in the trailer, if I can avoid it). What did you use the locking cable for? Did you lock your battery onto the frame somehow? I was told that it could get stole otherwise, but couldn’t see how to do it.
Thanks — I had trouble accessing the yahoo T@B site, too — when I signed up, hoping for information on a specific question, they added 1500 emails to my inbox(!) I abandoned the effort at that point.
Now you have money to travel…but no trailer…There’s always camping…
