Thank God for blessings large and small !!

Resurrection Sunday; praise God for the gift of His Son who died… and rose from the grave!!

A peculiarly small gift arrived in the mail yesterday. I was gone all day (yesterday) so only became aware of the light-weight package after our large, delicious Easter Sunday dinner. (My potluck contribution was two large containers of fresh raw veggies.) ~~ Home again, I quickly opened the package (long overdue) from a nursery in Illinois. ~~ It’s a dark, gloomy, rainy day, 57 degrees (at 4 o’clock). If any day but Sunday, I’d be tempted to start planting… but would think twice because of the weather. ~~ On a positive note, it won’t require a lot of garden soil to plant these. ~~ A BIG day awaits because I purchased plants–on Friday–from Lowe’s.

I thank God for Jesus–and  the blessing of plants, and birds, in my yard.

Thunderstorm–at 4:30 PM. I’m wearing a sweater because a cool 69 degrees indoors. This morning, I felt compelled to turn up the furnace and warm my trailer home. ~~ Another blessing: Our weather is far better than many areas around our nation. More snow in the New England states.
