Music ‘n Memories is the name of the event. First we were treated to sentimental songs and music. Second, a candle was lit in memory of a loved one. Third, social time with delicious desserts. ~~ I couldn’t find details during a Google search, but was told: “This is Escapees version of the traditional ‘Texas Cemetery Party’ in which townsfolk gather at the local cemetery to weed, perform general maintenance, and plant new flowers. A cemetery party included a pot luck lunch, during which people shared stories of their deceased loved ones.”
