Something the Lord Made

Dr. Vivien Thomas: An inspiration. I watched the movie Something the Lord Made.” A long, busy day wound down with the DVD movie. ~~ I won’t bore you with the details of today’s activities. Sufficient to say, I crossed a couple more things off my “to do” list.

If I spent less time on the computer, I might get more things done!! I did not have WiFi from the CARE Center. I couldn’t fritter my morning away reading email newsletters, and preparing a blog.  Over twelve hours without WiFi!! That’s a hardship for this old lady!!

It’s late; I’m heading to bed.

Wake up call !!

Smiley face with coffee cupAddicted to my early morning coffee?! I didn’t think so. However, it is 10:30 and I have a monster headache. I’ve been drinking herbal tea (this morning) because I can’t get the lid off a new jar of instant coffee. I’ve used herbal tea for decades–and enjoy it–but slipped back into drinking coffee since I moved to Livingston. I just want to go back to bed, fall asleep, and wake up without this pain. (Superfluous information, I know.)

Damsel in distress; Sir Galahad to the rescue !!

Last night I mentioned to an acquaintance that I need a handyman for a couple of projects. Without blinking an eye, he asked if nine o’clock this morning would be convenient. Dave arrived precisely at nine o’clock. We tackled the project of moving the television from one type of mount to a very flexible mount. The pictures tell the story. ~~ Previously, with the television recessed into the cabinet, it was difficult to understand what people were saying. Very muffled; changing the various setting on the TV did not improve the voices. Late this afternoon I experimented; the sound is very good now. ~~ I am so thrilled!!

Unexpected encouragement !!

With the benefit of excellent sound quality with my updated television viewing, I selected the movie End of the Spear. Then I found Beyond the Gates of Splendor on YouTube. At no expense…, I watched… and I rejoiced!! I’ve enjoyed so many unique benefits during my life. The films reminded me of my visit to the business owned and operated by Steve Saint. It was so special to touch their lives in a very small way. Expanding my current information, via an Internet search, I found this testimony by Steve Saint. Such a blessing!! A sincere “thank you.”

Check my blog message Praise God from Whom all Blessing Flow.  ~~  Visit I-TEC through my camera lens.

Why is encouragement important?? I long  for contact from my family!! I hope for an email message, or a phone call. I’ve learned to live with rejection (from family) but appreciate reminders (above) that my Heavenly Father is vigilant and generous in my  (our) behalf.

Natural News provided a link to a media source with uncensored news. I just signed up. It’s free.

When pharmacies in your neighborhood push flu shots and other vaccines, they don’t tell you they are part of a branch of medicine steeped in genocide, racially-motivated hate crimes and a medical war on women. They don’t tell you that flu shots still contain toxic mercury at concentrations 100 times the mercury found in ocean fish. They don’t tell you anything about what’s in those vaccines for the same reason that women in Kenya are never told what’s in them, either.

Spending time (because I haven’t any money) !!

Little George statue news article pictureYesterday, I spent hours working on an album to upload to the Internet regarding Little George Havens’ Cowboy Camp Meeting – 2014. Why? Because it was an unfinished project that I wanted to cross off my “to do” list. This morning, I spent hours clicking on every link–on the Internet–referring to Little George Havens. Why? Because the more times a site is visited, the higher it moves in a search. Frankly, I’m hoping interested individuals will search See you next year?“camp meeting” and find my blog and be inspired to join the event in 2015. “See you next year?”
