This old lady is too trusting. When I shopped for television antennas, I believed the details in the advertisement. I detailed my purchase of the LAVA HD-2605 Ultra here on my blog. I took pictures as I assembled the parts. Hoisting the antenna was documented. More recently, the antenna went on a galvanized pipe and three thoughtful men reattached the unit to the ladder of my RV.
Today the rotor “died”!! ~~ After checking every connection, undoing and redoing, I called technical support (Ontario, California) and was told the antenna needs to be brought down to the ground to be double-checked. That’s a fine kettle of fish!! After all the work to get it “up there,” I have to take it down!!
This evening I checked the Internet for complaints about the antenna–and they are numerous. There are a few “5-star” reviews but most customers are dissatisfied.
Lorraine, when will you ever learn?? Too soon old, too late smart!!
(At 7:00 PM, I’ll go to the CARE Center so I can watch America’s Got Talent. I’m voting for magicians David and Leeman.)
