… do it well!!
You’ve heard me say it before: “I just couldn’t stop.” I thought I was stopping at 8:36 but was back in the yard moments later. First, I sanded off the rust; second, I applied Goo Gone to eliminate sticky residue from Duct tape. Now (11:15) I’m waiting for paint to dry!! Actually, “first” was time spent with the blocks that will stabilize the picnic table.

Did you treat the rust with anything between sanding and priming? Have you used the all in one primer/paint product before? I’ve seen it and was wondering how it does.
Deb, I used Rust-Oleum Paint & Primer-in-One. This was my first time with this product (from Walmart). In NC, I did a lot of spray painting but it was inexpensive paint from Ollie’s. This job did not demand “perfection” but I thought less likely for rust to return in the future if I sand and paint properly. ~~ No, nothing beyond sanding, Goo Gone, and wiping down the surface.
