Camping trip on the horizon ?!

Checking the battery

Hooking up electricity

Two RV electric cords

T@B hook-up

We have power

Smiley Face night lightThe T@B is almost ready for another trip!! I’m so excited because things are moving so smoothly. I dreaded a dead battery–but it is fine. The tester needed two new AA-batteries but quickly supplied. The original RV electrical cord, and extension RV electrical cord, was under the awning but got wet in the rain storm. I dried the connections with my hair dryer… and prayed all would be well. I sat on soggy grass, and mud, to attach underneath the T@B. Pleasant surprise: Power!!

Check your tires before you hit the road. if the date code is between 5-7 years old, replace them! google it for pictures and instructions on how to read the code. Old tires and low air preasure are the too main reasons for tire failure. and overloading!

Another huge cause of trailer failures is wheel bearings that haven’t been checked and lubed…but I believe they checked that when they did the tires. It does need to be done way often than tires; we have the bearings repacked/replaced annually on our enclosed trailer, because we run it so much. It’s cheap insurance against finding yourself along the side of the road with a blown hub. We do ours annually; the recommendation is generally annually or every 10,000 miles. You can usually get it done reasonably at a tire store or trailer dealer.
