…and on the advice of others: Please do not attend the movie Noah. I rarely attend a movie; I’m an “old fuddie duddie” about the television programs I watch. I am concerned with “truth,” not entertainment. Why would a Christian attend a movie written and produced by an avowed atheist??
Breakfast is over;, time to go to work. My ritual morning visit to read email messages, and prepare a blog, is history. I made great progress yesterday!! I want to keep going while I have the momentum!! ~~ Lots of birds on the feeders; weak sunshine at the moment but 60% chance of rain.
OK, in the interest of telling the “truth,” watching The Pretender is entertainment for me. I’ve been viewing the series, on DVD, the last few evenings. Soon I will watch The Walton Family Easter.

Yes there has been a lot of talk about the move “Noah”. Would you allow me to comment on this though? I went and saw the movie and of course Hollywood didn’t get it “all” right. But they did get a few things right. And that’s ok. We can’t expect a secular world to discern spiritural things. But this is what it does do. It affords us the opportunity to say to a lost world ~ that’s Hollywoods take on a Biblical story but lets look at God’s word and see what God said about the flood.
We can use it as an opportunity to point people to God and His word. I think we, as Christians, can be too quick to judge and point our finger at a world that doesn’t know Christ. It isn’t our job to point out faults but to point them to the Lord without malice or predjudice. So I for one thank the Lord that Hollywood would even think to make a movie about a Biblical story and thank Him for the opportunity it gives me to lead the lost to truth so they can find their way to Christ.

SINCERE THANKS, Kathy, for your reply and comments!!!!!!!! I confess that I am narrow-minded about a lot of things. I want white to be “white” and right to be “right.” I have a long history of encounters with pseudo-Christians so I took the negative approach regarding the movie “Noah.”
