Yesterday I bought three new bird feeders at Tractor Supply Company. I have numerous bird feeders, bird houses, planters, etc., etc., in North Carolina (storage). Two of the new feeders are designs I have never seen–and fell in love with. One is a white church, one is a red barn. I also purchased a suet feeder, and suet.
We have bright sunshine this morning–after days of rain, wind, and miserably cold weather. It is still cold but everyone is thankful for sunshine. Even the birds?? I hope they find the feeders soon so they have “a Thanksgiving feast.”
I seldom leave the CARE Center but braved the raw elements (yesterday) to shop for veggies for a veggie tray as my contribution to Thanksgiving dinner potluck.

“I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual. . . . O how I laugh when I think of my vague indefinite riches. No run on my bank can drain it, for my wealth is not possession but enjoyment.” – Henry David Thoreau
