PBS is re-running the series The National Parks. I’ve watched…over and over, hour after hour. Oh, the beauty!! The history behind the parks is fascinating!!
Deb, Yosemite will probably always be my favorite. When I was traveling in 2010, people would say “You have to see Acadia National Park; it is the most beautiful.” Acadia has it’s rugged beauty but (IMHO) does not compare to Yosemite. Not a National Park, but I loved Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. Driving the Skyline Drive in Virginia is breathtaking!! I love the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. But as I think of the many I’ve seen, I still favor Yosemite. I want to see the Congaree National Park when I leave North Carolina. Funny thing, Congaree hasn’t been mentioned on the National Park series ~~ Thanks for asking.

In all of your travels, what are some of your favorite parks you’ve seen? Or maybe one that stands out that you would like to see?
