I’m having a yard “yard sale” this holiday weekend. A neighbor commented that the garden is “too cluttered. It shouldn’t have bird feeders and garden flags; just flowers.” ~~ Do you agree?? ~~ See the price tags dangling from “for sale” items?? More things are discreetly hidden behind the Hibiscus plant (center back).

Postscript, Monday, July 15, 2013, 10:00 AM: Things didn’t sell. Most were moved to my cluttered backyard. Management hasn’t commented on my “cluttered backyard” so things await future disposal. (Procrastination!)
Three Quarters & Counting 
Tell her to mind her old bitty bidness, it’s your garden and you’ll do as you like. Now that I got that off my chest, I know that you could never do that so don’t know what else to say except I think it looks great as it is. It gives you a creative outlet and you know we all need that!
Thanks, Jimmy, for kind words. No, I won’t act like it has hurt me terribly (but it has). I am always anxious to please people!! I didn’t volunteer for that garden; it was assigned because of my backyard labors. So I was working hard to make it a “show place”–because it is in a conspicuous area of the parking lot. I’m so sad that a neighbor doesn’t see it–as I do–as “eye candy.”
