I received a beautiful handmade card from the staff at the office of the apartment complex. The printed message:

Life is full of many joys
and many happy things…
the beauty of the sunrise,
a flower, a bird that sings.
There are also certain people
who can make our world seem brighter,
who simply with a word or smile
can make a heart feel lighter,
and since you’re that kind of person,
