Postscript, 5:30 PM: It was necessary to clean up the accumulation of items in the middle of the living room floor. (So I can bring in the squirrel feeders [LOL]. Otherwise, the raccoons will devour all.) ~~ I not only saved galvanized pipe, and fittings, from Quartzsite, Arizona, in 2003, I save nails, screws, and a variety of items “because they might be useful some day.” You’d be surprised how often I find “just the right item” in my voluminous “stuff.” ~~
Moments ago, I counted seventeen (or eighteen?) male and female Cardinals feeding on seeds in the backyard grass. Such a beautiful scene to observe eight or nine bright red male Cardinals with their brown spouses. (I’ve read they mate for life.) ~~ FYI: I’ve observed birds checking out the newly-positioned Bluebird house. Sadly, not Bluebirds.
6:25 PM: A bunny rabbit is on my patio looking for a treat.
