I sometimes think electronics have a mind of their own. The day and date advanced one day. Why?? Even though the outdoor temperature number seems excessive, I believe it is accurate. “Summer” just won’t leave!!
Twenty-twenty hindsight: “Comparison” with alternate thermometer (forty minutes later).
The CBS Sunday Morning TV program shared an interesting story about Fallout Shelters. This is my “play on words” as I draw attention to my humble “fall out” shelter. I huddle here from my real and perceived wounds.
The Escapees RV Club has a mail forwarding service. I’m told they have more than eleven-thousand subscribers. This “service” is larger than the Livingston, Texas, Post Office. Five days a week, twice a day, large trucks arrive and depart with mail. The trucks drive in front of my yard; I see them from my position at the computer and when I’m working in my garden. While working in my garden, I wave and they wave and honk their horn. This morning the driver honked the horn even though I wasn’t in the yard. “Little things mean a lot.” Out of sight but not out of mind.
Yours truly frequently has “an inspiration” and is motivated to follow the thought. This word was spinning in my head (all day) and seemed the appropriate title for a blog message.
