Yes, I was “up” at 2:22 because my “sleep aid(s)” fail after four hours. “Up” before seven so I can follow the news–and details of California fires. ~~~~ Too bad snow falling in Northern states while California is hot and dry!!

World Kindness Day according to information gleaned from the NBC Today Show.

My arms are too short. Sending love, and hugs, across the ‘net to family, friends, and followers.

“Twenty degree wind chill” according to TV meteorologist–at noon. Therefore, temperature was cold enough for snow. I thought I saw snow flakes mingled with falling leaves. It didn’t “stick”…. “Earliest recorded snow in Houston history. Normal high for this time of year: Seventy-nine degrees.”

My friend–in California–sent this updated map. Isn’t this a beautiful illustration of “kindness”??

So-o-o-o grieved with TV scenes of devastating fires in my home state of California. So-o-o-o grateful for furnace, and large tank of propane. Repeat: So-o-o-o grateful for furnace!! As mentioned in an earlier blog message, so-o-o-o grateful “Divine Intervention” is responsible for my working furnace, and working RV refrigerator.

“Untitled”  because I do not have a “catchy” title. Honestly, I’m weeping, and heavy-hearted for families, and firefighters, in California.

…“This afternoon will be even colder.”

I’m back indoors because I’m cold and in need of another cup of coffee. Last night, a thunder-storm dumped an inch of rain–and brought down a lot of limbs. The TV meteorologist statement prompted me to cover the plants.

George’s little Christmas tree can probably withstand the weather but I’ll cover…and plan to decorate it in about one month.

It took two hours to prepare pictures and write this blog message. Mid-day TV meteorologist just said “Light freeze at dawn tomorrow.” ~~ I’m indoors (obviously) wearing a heavy sweater (over sweat shirt) and I’m cold. ~~ Correction (12:20): “Light freeze Wednesday, and Thursday, at daybreak.”

One of my friends–living in California–sent the image regarding states sending firefighters. “Yes,” I knew a large caravan of fighters, and equipment, left Houston at 7:00 AM. Probably caravans from Dallas and other Texas communities, too.

I’ve tried a variety of “sleep aids” but they quickly fail me. The “double dose” of gummies should have lasted all night. ZzzQuil good for slightly less than four hours sleep.

Remember (?), Wednesday I was perspiring and turned on the A/C midafternoon. Friday (yesterday), coat and umbrella–and furnace. Next Wednesday, freezing temperature according to TV meteorologist.
