My family is growing !!

.

To my astonishment, one-thousand new individuals added to my Ancestry database. I’m”working with” individuals already documented so that many “new” is remarkable–in less than one month.

“Good” Friday

The “holiday” season is the most difficult time of year for me. “Depression” is my companion these days. Today is a “good Friday” because I re-remembered how fortunate I am to have my good memory. Thanks, Deb!!

Good, better, best…

Yesterday, on Ancestry.com, “the old lady” spent hours unraveling erroneous information and documenting accurate sources. She was going to make reference to tilting at windmills but that may be a stretch?!

.

Information (in Ancestry) from “the other guys”; sources are available if an individual spends time doing searches.

Outdoors before seven !!

20/20 hindsight (remorse) for not adding a second “cover” for Purple Shamrock. The plant miraculously survived the severe freeze in January but has a long ways to go to reach the former beauty. The Sweet Potato vine is an “annual” and an inexpensive “mark down” (at Lowe’s) so no remorse.

.

Prior to ruthless eviction a year ago, Purple Shamrock was a star attraction on the patio when “we” were CARE residents.  ~~ Still “freezing” temperature as I publish this at 8:50 AM.

One-track-mind ?

My focus has been on the plants; I’ve neglected the birds!! Time to “bundle up” and spend a few minutes filling bird feeders?? Sometimes I’m very good at multi-tasking: I can eat breakfast and prepare a blog message; I can eat lunch and prepare a blog message. I can “climb the family tree” while listening to a television program. Think of all the things I could get done “if only”  not too hot and humid or too cold and windy.

There was one (or more) occasions when I made a special trip into Livingston for bird seed. Not today; I’m indoors for the remainder of the day.
