If I’d been wearing a pedometer, the number of steps would have been substantial?! ~~ Lots of free stuff versus possible overpriced items. Customers may complain but I know the value of the items–and these are “half-price.” Easy to drop the prices after a period of time. I expect to “drag out” the sale for several weeks; “weather” is in my favor and “I have more time than money” (lol) .

Greetings from a friend, extended to friends !!
Nine to five
.
Only a partial list of the activities. The temperature was absolutely perfect and a delight to work outdoors!! ~~ Only computer time is/was preparation of this message.
.
.
Disregarding my appearance–dirty work clothes–I drove four miles round-trip to the truck stop. I’d heard their deli serves a delicious fish meal on Friday. Sadly, only between 10:30 and 2:00. When I inquired “What do you have available?” I heard “Brother’s pizza.” I was able to order a “veggie” and it was delicious!!
Enjoying the view !!
“My” view, not the one on TV. Sometimes I’m at the right place at the right time. First, the squirrel on the bird feeder; I missed a picture of him hanging precariously. The wire around the seed tube is supposed to stop the little critter but he’s persistent. Likewise, he has figured out how to get kernels of corn at the top of “the twister.”

Creative Gardening
On Facebook, a page called Creative Gardening. Something I’ve been doing for years. Today, I hung “Spring” garden flags on my “creative” poles.
“Took off fifteen years”
That was one comment I heard after I enjoyed a long-overdue haircut. Top picture, left, was taken “on a whim.” To my recollection, I’ve never taken a “selfie” with the camera held at arm’s-length. With forethought, I would have set up the tripod. Afterthought (after the haircut): Definitely “set up the tripod.”
.
Hallelujah, “Spring” arrived at 4:58 PM
What would you do ??
The neighbor hung flags on the pole in my front yard. I asked if he was going to take the flags down each night “according to flag etiquette” or position a spot light. He said he doesn’t care about etiquette!! He was “doing” because his step-mother was nagging at him. ~~ With the flag pole on my side of the yard, everyone driving by, or walking by, will think I’m the person disrespecting the flag!!

Step-son/neighbor drove into Livingston, to Lowes, and returned with the solar light. I’m amazed; I’m delighted!!
.
Surprise, surprise !!
While searching the Internet for prices of plants, and planters, I saw “my” picture. Maybe the reader will see same if they click this link. (No guarantee with web sites.) ~~’Twas early morning, while I enjoyed my coffee, a preliminary price list. If a customer challenges my yard sale prices, I can suggest they shop at Lowes and pay twice as much and half the size. Doing my “home work,” 🙂 Speaking of… almost the entire day working (outdoors) around home. “Blew” away leaves with the Worx blower, vacuum, mulcher. Hosed the patio, and carport, again. Every day, a new layer of yellow pollen on everything. Moved more items to the carport and set up a couple of displays.
Rude awakening !!
Yesterday was so warm, I turned the furnace “off.” When I awakened this morning, my trailer home was cold. I turned the furnace “on” and went back to bed. About ten minutes later I was forced to get out of my warm bed to determine why I was hearing a loud “beep.” For the first time while living in my trailer home, the propane detector light had changed from green to yellow–and the piercing “beep.” I turned the furnace “off,” opened a window, and started the ceiling fan. Eight o’clock and beeping continues.
.
Yours truly pushed–and held–the button and it cycled from yellow to green–and beeping stopped. ~~ Earlier, I reached out (via email) to a dear lady-friend and she sent video instructions.
(Thanks Debra.) Quite possibly, the unit failed due to “old age” (fifteen years old). ~~ “Old age” takes a toll on body and equipment!!
.

Here is a link with the absolute answer to my experience. It’s almost ten o’clock and I’m “on the Internet” shopping for carbon monoxide detector replacement.
