Pollen on everything; debris on the ground. Important (to me) to “tidy the area.” Almost the entire day working in the yard. The ad comes out, tomorrow, in two newspapers.

I didn’t want to get out of bed (but did)!! Freezing temperature in Conroe but my thermometer said thirty-seven. “Discouraged and depressed” because so much work preparing for the yard sale, so few customers, and “winter” weather.

For three days, I’ve been “trackin'” my “Traxler” relatives. Sunday (yesterday) was cold and miserable. Gratefully, no yard sale customers. However, seated at my computers, I can see people when they arrive.  Furthermore, no TV to hide the sound of the “motion detector” doorbell that alerts me of a visitor. “Multitasking?” Climbing the family tree while waiting for few-and-far-between customers.

“Happy” as a greeting to my readers. Not so happy old lady wearing a sweater in her furnace-warm, pleasantly warm, trailer home.

One-hundred things I should be doing. However, I really love to create blog messages, and, obviously, document my extended family. Four pictures, below; click each to enlarge for better viewing.

8:00 PM: After all the explaining of my approach to inaccurate data, I did an about-face. I did what should have been done in the first place: Ellen Jane Traxler properly positioned with her parents. As a gift to all her descendants, and researchers, I spent the entire day documenting her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. ~~ My angst: So many errors in individual trees while volumes of information is available if we take time to search/research. ~~ Tomorrow, Lord willing, I will ignore the computer and tackle the neglected projects.

One of my three sons posted this on his Facebook page. Perhaps I’m “too analytical” but I question “what”  and “why”  he felt the need to post that message. Personally, yours truly is a “prisoner of [her] past.”

Why did the husband, and father, desert the family?

What motivates three sons to reject their mother? (More than fifteen years have lapsed.)

Why do “Christians” stab other Christians in the back?

People are quick to pick up things from the two areas with “free”  items. I considered a sign that says “Free with purchase.”  Considered… but not executed. It’s OK; I’m glad to have “clutter”  hauled away.

Started this message yesterday; thought I’d add more (but didn’t). It was a “social” time as I visited with visitors. Few sales but “it’s OK.”

I expect my landlady-neighbor is going to curse at me because my “customers” are parking in her driveway. “They” (landlady and her step-son) had plenty of advance notice so their things could be on display too. “Just didn’t get around to it”  (ad in the paper, and set up).

Changing the subject: **If** I had more expertise, I would have done an overlay to place a Smiley Face in the three dollar bill.
