I checked the corridor and neighbors were standing, or sitting, in their doorway because the corridor had lights and A/C. I heard voices in the lobby area so limped down the stairs and joined the group. When folks headed back to their apartment, I too, headed to mine and went to bed. (Climbed the stairs for the second time…)  Before ‘bed,’ I opened the door to the balcony, and the storm door, and propped them open so I had cool air inside my apartment. The power came on about midnight—but no TV. I haven’t heard details on TV news but I suspect it was an area-wide power failure.”
