Over the past few days, I have gotten procrastinated exercise. My legs and my back are screaming at me; I’m taking Acetaminophen and I’m wearing compression stockings. I’m not complaining–just a comment for a blog message.

“Yes,” I went shopping for a few essentials while “Mr. Red” and Jerry worked in the kitchen. ~~ It is very pleasant “shirt-sleeve” weather.

Thirty–seven folks enjoyed the evening of fellowship. This was our largest “social” event since the Coronavirus disrupted our lives.

Last night, I changed TV channels because I’m weary of the news about Twitter corruption, prisoner swaps with “Merchant of Death,” and the tragic deaths of Idaho college students. My TV is usually on FOX News (when not on TBN with Christian programming). At 8:00—without any forethought—I switched to the Magnolia Network. I enjoyed three hours of a remarkably interesting display–and narrative–regarding “The Castle” in Waco, Texas. Chip and Joanna Gaines bought the property and restored it to its glory days one hundred years ago. I was (and am) thrilled with my viewing choice

Sunshine today and the tree (in my yard) is so attractive.
 
 
The “Bottle tree”—in my driveway—received two more long strings of lights and it is so beautiful (in my humble opinion).

No, receiving an obituary (from a cousin) made me do it. After two days, I returned to “climb the family tree” when I received the email message regarding a 4th-cousin-one-time-removed. In the process of documentation… I extended past 83,000 individuals in my Ancestry database. No milestone image this time; you have to take my word for it.

Hard to believe it is 12:20 PM.

Every effort was made to unwrap the strings of lights. They were “burned out” so finally I decided to cut the strings.

A new package of Duck tape—but several years old. It was almost impossible to unwrap and then I was dealing with “icky-sticky.” The base of the star was broken and needed a repair job.

After some “sit down time,” I began to add the new strings of lights. I decided “dusk” will be a better time to string… so I can evaluate the arrangement.

Two days… and I haven’t climbed the “family tree.”

**If** we have some sunshine, I believe I can get a better picture of the tree in my yard. To the naked eye, the colors are beautiful.
