POSTSCRIPT @ 11:10 AM: I ought to be thankful for Meals on Wheels but the food items are things I rarely or never eat.
The weather is slightly cooler, praise the Lord!! Lorraine is feeling better, praise the Lord!! Reinforced with Tylenol, a project was tackled: Strip the bed and wash the bedding in hot water, and dry in a hot dryer.
Postscript @ two o’clock: Extra precaution thanks to lady-friend, Deb. She ordered… and had it mailed to me. This is for “sugar ants” but may attract the teenie–tiny insects?! This is positioned in the corner, on the left side, at the front of the bed.
…a meal from Meals on Wheels. Shortly after I came home from the hospital, a Social Worker contacted me—a referral from the hospital. Then she (Social Worker) made a referral to Meals on Wheels. I protested saying I was confident I was ineligible. “No,” my compromised health made me eligible. Honestly, I would have enjoyed a salad but “beggars can’t to choosers.” Not that I am literally a “beggar”—the saying came to mind because I am reduced to nothing.
Better days are anticipated. SINCERE THANKS to friends for email best wishes. I do not have the energy to prepare and send personal answers. Please accept my apology. For four days, I did not open the front door and venture outdoors. Early this morning, I ventured into the yard to position the sprinkler and water the dying lawn. ~~ I spent time (today) “climbing the family tree” for a cousin. He requested and I responded (because I am an editor for his tree). Most of the time, I am “gliding” in my easy chair.
