Make progress while the sun shines ?!
No rain today !!
“The old lady” is very patriotic This image caught her eye and begged to be photographed. ~~ While “the old lady” was a resident at the Escapees CARE Center, she prepared for a possible evacuation from Livingston to Lufkin. Hurricane threats!! The suitcase contains flashlights, batteries, cell phone charger, etc., in addition to the items visible in the pictures. She planned and prepared for all the CARE residents.

Tuesday trivia
Did I hear you say: “It’s all trivia” ? I’m changing the subject: I’m going to talk about the weather. (We’re sick of that other topic.) Quite possibly, I can exchange jeans, sweatshirt and sweater for shorts and a T-shirt. I haven’t investigated the two “window” air-conditioners. If this heat continues, I’ll need the air-conditioner. Look: Almost as hot indoors as outdoors.
Forgive me? Today I published an overload of messages.
Monday message

Above the line, a “message” prepared several days ago. Truth be told, I prepared and scheduled eighteen messages in the last few days (no climbing the family tree). I found it challenging–and enjoyable. This Monday morning I planned to tackle the clutter in my home (stuff I brought in from the storage unit). I was watching NBC Today show when “depression” hit me like a ton of bricks. Huddled under my Slanket, relaxing in my easy chair, I started crying. It’s 10:15 AM–three hours after the images of “body bags” in New York City hospitals. (You know the news reports; I don’t have to repeat them.) To “feel better” I searched for clip art to illustrate “a ton of bricks.” Maybe the computer is my only comfort? Maybe I need to shift my attention from “clutter” to “computer”? Time to “climb the family tree”??

Helpful suggestions
I’m impressed that My Patriot Supply is reaching out to former customers. I will definitely follow their suggestions for meal preparation. I haven’t gone grocery shopping and recognize that it would be wise to use the food items I have available.

Dear Ms. Edwards
With Americans being told to stay at home to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, how we get our food and what we eat has become a focal point in most households.
Now that we aren’t able to get everything we want, when we want it, it’s time to get creative in the kitchen.
If you’ve stocked up on foods with a longer shelf life like most Americans, it doesn’t mean meals have to be bland and boring. Or that you have to go without.
Click below for advice on making the food you purchased with your hard-earned dollars last and not go to waste, as well as tips for having fun and creating meals that will keep you and your family healthy and strong.
In liberty,
Elizabeth Anderson
