Is it sacrilegious for me to draw a comparison between Resurrection Sunday and “resurrection Saturday”? Let me explain: Almost one month ago, my precious website titled Frantz Families–Kith & Kin vanished from the Internet. Without warning, without a request for payment, “poof” the website was gone. I’ve contacted Weebly numerous times and every attempt failed. I sent an email message loudly declaring my displeasure with the way they treated a long-time customer.
Every few days I have made efforts to find and restore the website. I don’t know how or why but after some “hairpulling” I think (pray) that it is again available for Frantz family researchers.
So for several days (quite possibly) one-hundred-plus names added to my Ancestry database. Why? If I get the individuals identified properly, another researcher is less likely to make the same mistake. The immigrant ancestor of this tree is variously identified from Austria, Poland or Russia. With my research and documentation, I am “paying it forward” for other Frantz family researchers. Thirty years ago, people were generously sharing Frantz family information with me.
