Luck of the Irish ?

“No, ‘Irish’  doesn’t have an iota of credit.”

This evening, I am feeling so much gratitude for “cousins” who have shared their information with me. Many years ago, I was a stranger among my newly-discovered Old German Baptist Brethren (church) cousins. They accepted me because of my maiden name: Frantz. They were so generous with their family history.

Yesterday (via “snail mail”) I received a “thumb drive” with information regarding the ancestry (and collateral lines) of my paternal grandmother. It has been decades since I worked with a GEDCOM file. I didn’t know how to upload the information to Ancestry.com. I requested–and received–information (via email) from a cousin through my maternal line.

My heart is swelling with love and my eyes are moist with tears. I am so grateful that I have been entrusted with valuable family information.
