A vivid dream

Last night I experienced a very vivid dream. Usually we awaken and we forget the details about a dream?? Strangely, my dream was so very vivid I remembered every detail! I saw the sheets of test papers; I saw the questions and I couldn’t answer them. I anguished over the questions and struggled to think of the answers. I failed the test!! Just before I awakened I suddenly believed I had the answers. Awake… I struggled (unsuccessfully) to go back to sleep so I could correct the test. True story!!

Pleasant afternoon

A perfect afternoon to work on outdoor projects. The “burn pile” was been eliminated since my landlady prohibited me from burning. I’ll pile fallen limbs in the “woodsy” area in the backyard.

.

“If only” every day could be like this and an invitation to “work” in, and enjoy, the yard.

“Good” good Friday ?

.

.

Currently,we have a maximum number of residents in the RV Park. “We” are hosting individuals enrolled for Escapees “Boot Camp.” People with power do not want visitors to see the sign(s). ~~ Fortunately, warmer weather so I dressed appropriately and ventured outdoors for several projects.  🙂  🙂  🙂  🙂  🙂

Good Thursday morning

Much warmer. “The old lady”  can tackle some indoor projects versus sitting (at the computer) twelve inches from the space heater. Oh boy, oh joy!

.

I lied; I’ve been an icicle all day!! I’m sitting close to the space heater and I’m drinking scalding hot tea.

.

Frozen (not the movie)

.

Gratefully, I don’t have to walk a dog. Thankfully, I have my wonderful warm robe and slippers, space heater, slanket, and thermal underwear.

If Lorraine had not been evicted from the CARE Center, Lorraine could dash to the Center for breakfast and “hang out” in the warm building. If Lorraine had not been evicted from the CARE Center, she wouldn’t be out of propane.

If Lorraine had a “crystal ball”–seventy-four months ago–she would have continued volunteer service at JAARS in North Carolina rather than volunteer at CARE in Livingston, Texas.

Winter weather

.

.

The old lady is looking for her gloves (or mittens). She is bundled up in her “slanket” watching TV. Guess what: No propane!! It has been my hope and prayer that the propane would last until my move. Obviously, I won’t have the tank filled because too big and too heavy to take to another location. The “space heater” is not warming my trailer home.

Thermal underwear ?!

Where’s my thermal underwear? I’m wearing several layers of clothes but I’m still cold!! No, I’m not huddled under the “slanket”; I’m about twelve inches from the space heater. No, I’m not watching television; I’m climbing the family tree. A cousin sent an obituary (via email) so I’m documenting her family. “Cousin”  said she had “Frantz” ancestry so I’ve been searching–and documenting–her lineage.

Here’s a shameful confession: I have no desire to venture outdoors and replace the covers on the plants/planters. Tonight is predicted to be even colder so the plants will suffer. Shame, shame, Lorraine!!

Plants & prayer

.

Arrived home at 3:35 and rushed to cover the plants. It was “dry” here but we had rain further North and just a few minutes prior. (As I type this at 4:35 the wind has blown one cover off one plant.) Hard freeze predicted tonight.

A dear lady-friend volunteered to accompany me (and drive) to my **perhaps** future home RV Park in Athens, Texas. It was a beautiful drive both ways with picturesque Fall colors. The RV Park is an absolutely marvelous place and I’m eager to move there. I solicit your prayers because I am number seventeen on the waiting list. The Park is so incredibly perfect, people seldom move.
