I walked around the corner
And what did I see?
This pretty flower,
smiling at me!

‘Twas a thought,
a sign for me:
“You, too, will survive;
Trust in Me.”

The soil is dry and lacks substance. This flower is a “volunteer”; nothing I planted and totally foreign to this novice gardener. A joy to behold!!
