Imelda aftermath

According to the TV news media, millions of people are not receiving their “snail” mail. A Post Office processing center in the Houston area was damaged in the recent tropical storm.

The Escapees RV Club has (among other things) a mail service. They have eleven-thousand (11,000) subscribers. Those customers are, likewise, unable to receive their mail (forwarded to locations across the nation).

    Fortunately, our mail service for the Escapees and in our park were not disrupted. The school in Mauriceville, TX was partly flooded. They have to send about 100 of their third graders to the school where my daughter, Shari, works as school nurse while their school is repaired. Shari’s school was spared this time.
